Made by the long-established Somanotani Tencha Factory in Uji, Kyoto.
Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, is one of Japan's leading matcha production centers. The Somanotani Tencha Plant, which has been involved in the production of Tencha for generations, uses only carefully selected "Okumidori" varieties and grinds them carefully on a stone mortar to produce this superb Matcha.

Mildness that only "Okumidori" can provide
Less astringency and a perfect balance of umami and sweetness. It is soft to the palate and recommended for those who do not like bitterness. It can be used to make a pot to drink, or used in confectionery to bring out its flavor.

Vivid green color and rich aroma
